about

Welcome to I Sing To Use The Waiting: Live With The Cleveland Chamber Choir. This album reflects selections recorded live during our fourth and fifth seasons, in some of Northeast Ohio’s most stunning venues. Since our debut in 2015, our thought-provoking and vibrant performances of choral masterpieces old and new have earned critical acclaim. We are proud to present what we do best: to sing over nine centuries of transcendent choral music with artistry and passion! Sit back and enjoy as we take you along with us to experience music’s power to both soothe and excite the senses, to delight as well as comfort, and ultimately to reflect inwardly upon ourselves. We are More than Music!

-Scott MacPherson, Artistic Director

The Cleveland Chamber Choir wishes to thank the following people for their generous help:

The staff at our venues who supported the concerts that these recordings are taken from: First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland, Kent United Church of Christ, St. Ignatius of Antioch in Cleveland, First Congregational Church of Akron, and St. Sebastian Church of Akron; to our volunteers and staff who worked to get this project out; to Corey Fowler for his creativity in designing the CD wallet; and of course, to you for showing your support of the choral art.
